2nd ANNUAL MUNNY DESIGN CONTEST
Finally the 2nd Nijmegen annual Munny design contest will be held at september 18 2010. This edition is not only organized by comic- and toy-shop Señor Hernandez but also by Subwalk and Kunst&festival "gevaarlijk goed." Like last year, you are allowed to us any form of DIY toy. It has to be over 6" though. The prizegiving will be at the Lindenberg institute at saturday september 18. Attached is an exhibition of all contestants. Afterwards the winners and maybe other toys will be displayed in the Señor Hernandez store. Deadline to participate in the contest is thursday september 16 9:00 pm.

The latest Dunny series: Fatale, has been released! This series will exist of only female artist designs. Look out for designs by:Koralie, Julie West, Kathie Olivas, Tara Mcpherson, @my Ruppel, Toofly, Lady Aiko, etc. Dunny Fatale, like the "Endangered species" series, etc. will be more limited than the regular series. Due to new Kidrobot regulations, stores like us included, are not allowed to sell open boxes anymore. The hunt for all the dunny fatale series is on! For display purposes we'll have some open boxes in our store. If you are looking for just that one missing dunny, let us know and we might be able to help you out! Prijsuitreking gezellig en groot succes!
Zaterdag 24 oktober was de prijsuitreiking van de 1e Nederlandse munny design contest. Ongeveer 35 mensen waren op dit "spektakel" afgekomen. Nadat de Jury meer dan een uur heeft beraadslaagd, was het om 5 uur eindelijk zo ver. De prijzen!! Het enthousiasme evenals het prijzenpakket (€350,00!!) was groot. Na een drankje en een hand pepernoten keerde men voldaan huiswaarts. Bijna iedereen inclusief de zeer vakkundige jury, heeft al toegezegd voor volgend jaar. Jury was en is: Danny van den Hoonaard / Ready2rumbl (graffiti / toy ontwerper) www.ready2rumbl.nl Roos Giethoorn (eigenaresse van urban art store SUBWALK) www.subwalk.nl Mark Moget (Grafisch / toy ontwerper Enchilada / Sauerkids) www.enchilada.nl Begin maar vast te ontwerpen.
